More Roads to Harley-Davidson

To inspire even more people around the world to experience the exhilaration of riding a motorcycle, Harley-Davidson recently announced details of its “More Roads to Harley-Davidson” growth plan through 2022. This announcement created furore amongst the media because Harley-Davidson revealed details on prototype models – a taste of which you’ll find below – and design images of possible future models.

Our friends are electric

In 2019, Harley-Davidson will release Livewire™: a powerful-yet-easy-to-ride premium electric motorcycle. A new icon that provides a visceral riding experience with instant torque and thrilling acceleration – no-clutch, just “twist and go.” Like every Harley-Davidson® motorcycle, LiveWire is an exciting motorcycle to ride and has a look, sound and feel that is authentic and original. Harley-Davidson hasn’t stopped at Livewire. Plans are afoot for a range of 2 EV (2-wheeled Electric Vehicles) so everyone can enjoy the fun of freedom Harley-Davidson delivers.

Time for a Pan America adventure

To appear in 2020 will be the first Harley-Davidson®adventure touring motorcycle; the Pan America™ 1250cc. See the world ahead from another point of view with its commanding riding position. Travel coast-to-coast. On road or off. All the while experiencing your own adventures on a motorcycle designed to go just about anywhere, everywhere. The world has suddenly become a smaller place to view from a Harley-Davidson Pan America point of view.

Taking the streets with a Harley-Davidson streetfighter

Expanding its line of middleweight models is the first Harley-Davidson®streetfighter motorcycle that is planned for 2020. Unapologetic modern style with enough performance and agility to carve through city streets. Make the roads to work less of a chore; make the weekend ride a truly memorable one.

Talking about the announcement and reveal of future planned models, Matt Levatich, president and chief executive officer, Harley-Davidson, Inc. said: “The bold actions we are announcing today leverage Harley-Davidson’s vast capabilities and competitive firepower – our excellence in product development and manufacturing, the global appeal of the brand and of course, our great dealer network.

Alongside our existing loyal riders, we will lead the next revolution of two-wheeled freedom to inspire future riders who have yet to even think about the thrill of riding.
